Katie Price Surprises Mothers With Botox On Pony Show

Katie Price loves shocking people, so when she invited four mothers around to her house for Botox injections, it wasn’t much of a surprise – even though they were there to film her new television show about ponies!

The mother-of-five asked the mums who have horse-riding children the same age as Katie’s eldest two round to her home in Sussex for her new TLC programme. And when they arrived, they discovered the 38-year-old had set up a beauty salon in her kitchen, the Daily Mail reported.

She said: “A lot of people who work outside are very weathered, which is why I introduced Botox.”

She was making sure her group, including mothers Jo, Dionne, Jane and Louise, had the makeover to ensure they were camera ready.

As well as Botox, they also enjoyed other beauty treatments, such as eyelash tinting, spray tans and eyebrow shaping.

Jane told the camera that she is a stranger to cosmetic procedures, admitting she has never even had a spray tan before.

She said: “I am an outdoor girl, I don’t do pampering.”

In comparison, Price – aka Jordan – is very familiar with cosmetic procedures, having undergone several breast enhancements and a nose job in the past. She also recently admitted to having Botox injections in her armpits as a way to reduce excessive sweating.

What Would You Drink For Great Skin?

It seems like every month there’s a new superfood we can’t live without, but Cosmopolitan beauty editor Lauren Valenti may have found one that not even the bravest among us would try. Cockroach milk. Yes, you read that correctly.

It turns out that the Pacific Beetle cockroach produces tiny crystals that contain loads more proteins and nutrients than regular milk. The world’s least-appealing milk contains amino acids, essential for healthy cell development, and lipids that help keep us healthy. Not only that, but the proteins themselves are covered in sugar, so we get more energy for less milk.

While this may be great for our bodies, it may not be all that good for our skin, as Rachel Nazarian, M.D. at Schweiger Dermatology Group, explains:

“The high levels of sugar may also make it a poor choice in terms of skin health and beauty, as we know that high-sugar diets actually accelerate skin ageing.”

Not that we’re going to be seeing bottles of cockroach milk in stores any times soon. To extract the crystals a part of the cockroach has to be removed and the crystals scraped out. Leonard Chavas, who co-authored the study, thinks that you might need more than a thousand cockroaches to make 100g of product.

We can all agree that the far better way to keep our skin looking younger would be a non-surgical face lift like those offered here at Weston Cosmetic.

Nutritionist Reveals Foods That Could Cause Wrinkles

They say you are what you eat and one nutritionist from London seems to really believe this, having come up with an Anti-Wrinkle Diet that could help you all turn back time or, at the very least, press pause on the ageing process for a bit.

Kim Pearson told the Daily Mail that there are some foods out there more likely to cause wrinkles than others, such as processed food like baked goods, ready meals and pizzas, which are typically high in refined carbs, artificial additives and unhealthy fats.

White bread, white rice, fried food, processed meats, anything high in sugar and trans fats should be avoided if you want to keep wrinkles at bay for as long as possible. Instead, you would be wise to stock up on salmon, tuna, unroasted nuts, seeds, colourful fruit and veg, and broccoli (which is high in anti-inflammatory nutrients). These should all keep you looking younger for longer, according to Ms Pearson at any rate.

Of course, there is no way you can press pause on your wrinkles forever and sooner or later, you’ll find that the diet you follow is increasingly less effective. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing you can do, however, and it might be time for you to start considering blue radiance peels or other non-invasive cosmetic surgery procedures.

If you’re interested to find out more about such procedures, get in touch with Staffordshire clinic Weston Cosmetic to see how we can help you recapture your lost youth – or help you keep the youth you have for as long as possible.
